REFLEXOLOGY
Linda Jewell

Linda has been working with us since the inception of Total Therapy Studios, starting as our sole receptionist. Since the opening day, her dedication and warmth have been invaluable.

In 2015, Linda became a qualified Reflexologist and offers foot, hand, and facial Reflexology at the clinic. Her loyal clients enjoy a serene atmosphere, experiencing the ancient energy medicine's nurturing touch. With a natural gift for connecting with people, Linda's warmth and compassion shine through in every interaction.

Alongside her role, Linda juggles being a full-time mom to two lovely girls. We share a love for good wine and hearty laughter, often enjoying them together.

Counselling
Sue Schofield

Sue works alongside us at our Carfax site, offering integrative conselling services. She understands that everyone is different and counselling evolves differently with each client, and Sue integrates a variety of different counselling styles into sessions. Her integrative, person-centred approach means that she's able to work with clients in a way that best suits them and the areas of their lives that they wish to explore.

Her key values are compassion, curiosity, honesty, humour and integrity. People can be surprised that humour comes into therapy, but with her warm manner and integrated approach it is often an essential part of the work! She truly understands that conselling is about breaking down barriers; it's about being human!

AROMATHERAPY
Claire Sebbage

Claire was first introduced to Aromatherapy Massage after a friend recommended a treatment whilst she was suffering with stress and a bad back. Amazed by the benefits and how much better she felt, she decided to change direction and went on to study massage herself.

She qualified in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage over 20 years ago in Cuckfield and then went on to study and qualify in Aromatherapy (ITEC level 3 distinction) A Professional Member of the FHT, she’s gained a huge amount of experience over the years treating a variety of different clients in different settings, all with their own particular needs.

Like many of the team, she’s a mum and between her and her partner have four amazing children and a beautiful grandson too. She also has two guinea pigs and has also adopted a Collie-cross rescue dog (crazy Benny) who is full of energy and keeps her fit and active!

REIKI AND YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Helen Mercercox

Helen joined the Total Therapy Studios team in June 2022 as an associate therapist delivering Reiki from Carfax. As with all of our independent therapists, she manages all elements of the client journey herself, so you can find out more about her by visiting her website. She's a level two Reiki practitioner who trained with the wonderful Anja David in 2021 and has a warm friendly manner, truly putting everyone at ease as soon as she meets them.

Helen has practiced Yoga for many years and also works with essential oils, which she builds into all elements of her life as well as her treatments too. Hugely influenced by nature, she enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors bringing her Yoga practice to the forests and changing seasons. She also works alongside other wonderful organisations, such as the TreeSisters charity. This cause supports reforestation through positive change and raising awareness; you can read much more about this on her website. She runs a number of classes during the week in various locations, including a great 30minute mid-week class on Wednesdays.

Beauty Therapy
Katie Tarrant

Fifteen years ago, her journey in beauty began at Chichester College, sparking a lifelong passion. Following stints on a luxury cruise ship, where she indulged her love for travel while offering premium spa treatments, she settled in Horsham, UK, gaining a decade of experience in local salons and spas.

Drawing from her extensive background, she founded The Lash Loft, specialising in natural lash enhancements like tinting, lifting, and extensions. Additionally, she offers a range of services from waxing to holistic treatments like scalp massages and hopi ear candling. Her client-centered approach ensures a welcoming and tranquil environment for all.

Outside work, she's an avid cyclist and sea swimmer, hobbies she picked up during the pandemic, alongside running and Pilates. Travel remains a passion, although staycations have become the norm lately. Surprisingly, she shares her home with two house bunnies, Teddy and Baloo.

Yoga
Annja Haynes

Annja joined Total Therapy in 2018, enhancing our yoga offerings with Vinyasa, Yin, and Teen yoga. With a background in Sports Coaching and a Masters in Sports and Exercise Psychology, Annja's expertise appealed to sports enthusiasts seeking active yoga styles. Her focus on self-care makes yoga the cornerstone of her classes, emphasizing feeling good, wellness, and movement alongside stillness. Hatha classes promote strength, flexibility, and stamina, while Yin classes deepen connective tissue flexibility through longer poses. Annja's Teen yoga fosters belonging and enjoyment for young practitioners.

Amid the health crisis, Annja prioritized respiratory health, delving into breath awareness and management. She has become an integral part of the Yoga team, bringing vibrancy with her colorful leggings. Whether in-studio, online, on YouTube, or in one-to-one sessions, Annja's presence enriches the yoga community at in Horsham.
